Tempa Rossa

Information will be provided on all processes that could affect the population, institutions, stakeholders, businesses and associations in Basilicata: this is TOTAL’s approach to transparency. TOTAL is dedicated to providing continuous and timely communication on the evolution of its activities regarding the Tempa Rossa project. TOTAL’s goal is to be recognized as a reliable and credible stakeholder in the region. 

On 21 November 2009, a meeting was held with the citizens of Corleto Perticara, Guardia Perticara and Gorgoglione and a press conference was held with the Basilicata media in order to present the upcoming drilling operations at the Gorgoglione 2 well. 

The press conference was held in Potenza at the regional Confindustria head offices. Journalists were able to learn more about all of the technical aspects related to the drilling of the Gorgoglione 2 well and they had the possibility of asking some questions about TOTAL’s future activities in Basilicata. 

The meeting was held in the afternoon and allowed many of the citizens of Corleto Perticara to understand the time and means necessary to drill the Gorgoglione 2 well.
